Eventer Selena O’Hanlon of Ontario, Canada turned her life-long Olympic dream into a reality this summer. And she brought Draper Equine Therapy® with her.
Selena started using the Draper Equine Therapy® Saddle Pad on Colombo, a 1994 bay Swedish Warmblood, at the Rolex Kentucky Four Star, an Olympic qualifying event.
Before leaving for the Games, we caught up with Selena to see how she liked our Saddle Pad. She said,
"Colombo has worn his saddle pad
everyday since competing at Rolex.
He wears nothing else."
In Beijing, Selena and Colombo finished in the top 50 in individual competition, and contributed to Canada’s 9th place finish in team eventing with a dressage score of 44.10 penalty points to place 11th overall in provisional standings for the first phase of competition.

After this impressive score which ranked her as the top Canadian in team dressage Selena said to Equine Hippique,
“Blowing out candles on a cake,
throwing a penny in a well,
seeing a shooting star -
the Olympics has always been
what I wished for.”
